We formed our own opinions about whether or not John Key should move to change the flag and most of us said "no, it shouldn't be changed". Everyone had different reasons for this, but the main reason (which everyone agreed on), was that the cost to change the flag is ridiculous! Imagine what else we could do with $26,000,000!
Everyone wrote a persuasive piece of writing around the flag debate. The challenging part was thinking of reasons why we should change the flag.
We then all designed a potential new flag for New Zealand. We did about 3 prototypes before doing our final design had to have reasons for everything we included on our flags. Everyone needed to receive feedback from another student on their final design.
